How to remove vinyl decals from a vehicle?
I have a trailer with 20 year old vinyl decals. They are huge.
And, I want them gone.
I don’t care about wrecking the paint cuz, it’s getting re-painted anyway.
I know this won’t be an easy job, but, does anyone have any idea for the best way to tackle this job.
I’m frustrated and pissed.
Any help will be appreciated.
I’m a girl with lots of tools.
You can start off using a single edge razor blade and heat gun. Just get a start at one of the edges and soften the decal up using the heat gun.Use the razor blade to get the corner started and then slowly pull on the decal and use the heat gun to keep it soft by moving the gun back and forth. It may take a while but that is the best way I know of.Hope this helps and good luck.
