Do you think its appropriate for pregnant women to wear a two piece bathing suit?
Im going down to Texas soon to see my husband who is deploying soon, and Im 20 weeks pregnant now. I’ll be about six months pregnant when I go there to see him. My belly is getting really big. I really wanted to go swimming and wear my two piece bikini bathing suit. but then a couple people have told me lately that I shouldn’t wear that while Im pregnant. They say it looks skanky. I didn’t think there was anything wrong with it. I actually thought it would be very cute to wear a bikini with my pregnant belly sticking out. I dunno. Any opinions. Im curious to hear what everyone thinks about this. Should I do it, or just go buy a one piece. Thanks for all answers.
I wore a two piece while pregnant with my son. I was out at the lake and let my belly hang in the middle of an intertube. I didn’t worry about what others thought about it, it was comfortable for me and I was happy to show off the belly, stretch marks and all.
Just be sure to use a good sunscreen! Wouldn’t want to have to deal with a sunburn while pregnant!
I think it will be cute as well, do what you want, and for those who give you the funny looks, forget them and enjoy yourself.
